Armenia’s industrial output grows 8.9% AMD 659 703 million in Jan-June 2016
YEREVAN, August 10. /ARKA/. Armenia’s industrial output cost AMD 659 703 million in Jan-June 2016 showing 8.9% year-on-year growth, the National Statistical Service reports.
The growth was mostly due to success in mining industry and open quarry development (18.8% to AMD 122.2 billion). In particular, excavation of metallic ores grew 18.8%.
According to the statistical report, the output of Armenia’s processing industry amounted to about AMD 394.5 billion in Jan-June 2016 showing a 5.1% year-on-year growth.
Electric power, natural gas, steam and conditioned air supply grew 11.4% to AMD 132.4 billion and water supply, cleaning and recycling of wastes and secondary raw materials grew 8.2% to AMD 10.6 billion. ($1 – AMD 476.19). --0----
