Somizi’s runway, Minnie and co.’s art

Celebrities are always at the forefront of fashion, but instead of being mannequins this time Minnie, DJ Zinhle were behind the scenes

Mercedes Benz Fashion week Johannesburg began on Wednesday night. In addition to the beautiful works of art on display, there are also some great collaborations and inspiring catwalks.

Minnie Dlamini, DJ Zinhle and DJ Tira are among the “celebrity-turned-fashion designers" that showed their collaborated clothing lines together with young designers from AFI (Africa Fashion Internation) fastrack at the Mercedes Fashion Week runway.

Many celebrities also featured as models at the fashion affair but choreographer Somizi Mhlongo caught the most attention.
