Two killed in Atteridgeville shooting

Paramedics found the bodies of two men, both with gunshot wounds to the head, in a stationary vehicle in Atteridgeville, near Pretoria.

Pretoria – Two men were killed in a shooting incident in Atteridgeville, near Pretoria, on Friday, ER24 said.

In a statement, the emergency medical service said its paramedics came upon a stationary vehicle to find the bodies of the two men, believed to be in their late 30s, still inside the vehicle.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said “both men had (each) sustained a gunshot wound to the head”.

The men were declared dead on the scene.

According to Meiring, the details surrounding the incident were not yet clear and police were investigating.
