Taxi driver killed in collision with bakkie

A taxi driver was killed when the minibus he was driving collided with a bakkie on the N2 highway in Durban

Durban – A taxi driver was killed when the minibus he was driving collided with a bakkie in Durban on Friday.

Rescue Care Paramedics spokesman Cerron Lennox said the accident occurred on the N2 highway near the EB Cloethe Interchange (also commonly known as the Spaghetti Junction) at about 4.30pm.

One other person was injured and taken to a nearby hospital.

Police were on scene investigating the cause of the crash.
