Footsie eases with mixed global markets on caution ahead of post-Brexit data

In opening deals, the FTSE 100 index was down 3.8 points, or 0.1 per cent at 6,912.3 having closed 1.31 points higher on Friday after what was a quiet session aside from some weak US data.
