Bulgaria's Pironkova with impressive win in first round of Cincinnati Masters

Bulgaria's Tsvetana Pironkova defeated the worl number 24 Darya Kasatkina in the first round of Cincinnati Masters.

Pironkova currently holds the world 74-th position in the tennis ranking. Nonetheless, well-experienced as she is, Pironkova dominated the court and defeated her progressive opponent by 6-1, 6-1.

The strong Italian player Roberta Vinci will be playing against Pironkova in the next round of the tournament. The Bulgarian so far has lost 2 out of the 3 matches played, but scored a victory in the most recent one.
