Ban on production of salads in SAS Group supermarkets lifted
Armenia’s Food Safety Agency has conducted inspections in salad-preparing sections of SAS Group supermarkets to see compliance with the demand it put to the chain of supermarkets on August 2, the press office of the agency reported on Friday.
The agency has found out faults in production of salads and demanded thing to be put right before August 15.
The inspections revealed the presence of pathogenic germs in SAS-made salads.
Taking into consideration the circumstance that the company has complied with the agency’s demand, which has been confirmed by laboratory examinations of trial samples, the agency lifted the ban imposed earlier. --0---
