Armenia’s brandy output increased by 24.1% in Jan-Oct 2016

YEREVAN, November 30. /ARKA/. Armenia’s brandy output grew 24.1% in Jan-Oct 2016, compared with the same period a year before, to 16,445,300 liters, the National Statistical Service reports. 

The country’s wine output has grown 12.4% over a period between January and October 2016, compared with the same period a year earlier, to 5,005,200 liters, and whiskey output has grown 1.6 times to 1,152,000, while vodka output has shrunk 8.8% to 6,211,500 liters. 

As many as 385,500 liters of champagne (2.8% growth) and 16,941,900 liters of beer (11.1% decline) were produced in Jan-Oct 2016. 

Soft drinks industry accounted for AMD 60,076,700 liters in Jan-Oct 2016 and an 8.6% year-on-year decline. --0---
