Forum platform is designed to activate one of the main recreational resources of the Primorsky Territory, noted the head of the regional department. Marine Forum will gather relevant experts: tour operators, representatives of regional and federal authorities, the owners of the coastal port infrastructure, owners of small and pleasure boats, cruise operators - more than 100 participants, those who are somehow involved in the scope of the multiplicative "sea tourism".

"Forum tasks can be divided into tactics and strategy. One of the most important areas - is the cruise tourism. Today annually over three million tourists cruise the Asia-Pacific region, and we want to be part of this process. Of course, incoming tourism - is one of the resources for the region's economic growth ", - said Konstantin Shestakov.

Director General of the Vladivostok Maritime Station Valery Nagorny said, this year the development of cruise tourism has been given special attention.

"Primorye was made heard on three major Asian markets at once, we expect that the interest of foreign partners will eventually turn into a growth in the number of ship calls in the region. In the following year, Vladivostok was visited by least 12 cruise ships, it is twice larger than the current. Became a sort of  landmark first calls in Primorye of cruises from China and Korea, "- he said.

For the development of this direction a lot of work has been done: the promotion of Primorye tourism potential in international markets, improvement of the legal framework, creating a comfortable information space for guests, including easy navigation, - a comprehensive work that brings results in the form of increasing the flow of a tourists to Primorye, said the head of profile department of the region.

"First Marine Forum was dedicated to tourism in the framework of the Free Port of Vladivostok, the Second Forum expanded the borders to the regions of East ring, and it is natural and it is very important, because many of its coastal areas have historically been explored by sea. Far East subjects responded with interest: Kamchatka and Sakhalin are actively developing cruise tourism. Our task - to create a living mechanism that will bring tourism product on the local routes to the global brand, covering not only inter-regional, but transnational routes, "- she said.

Konstantin Shestakov said first forum proved the effectiveness of a professional platform: most of the issues noted in the final resolution have been resolved.

"Perhaps one of the most important decisions for the development of the industry - is an opportunity for small fleet owners to obtain a license for passenger transport for commercial purposes. The corresponding decree was signed by the government this year. In Primorye, there are about 38 thousand small vessels, the potential is huge in this direction. At the beginning of the new year we will hold a seminar, which will describe an algorithm for obtaining a license for everyone ", - said director of the department.

According to the tourism department of the Primorsky Territory, the participants of the forum will be at least 100 people, including colleagues from the Kamchatka Krai and Sakhalin Oblast, and the Pacific Rim countries. They are representatives of the authorities, tour operators, ship owners, cruise agents, yacht clubs, sea passenger ports, scientific and educational organizations.

"Our task - to develop measures for the effective promotion of nautical tourism of regions of the Far East in the domestic and international tourist markets, the development of the ferry, cruise and yacht and boat types of tourism.

Note, the organizers of the forum are the Sea Tourist Information Centre of the Primorsky Territory, Primorsky Regional Union of Travel Industry, Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service and the Tourist Association of International Integration "Window to Eurasia" with the support of the regional department of tourism and profile public expert council.
