In One Shot: Return of the two World champions

Armenian Greco-Roman wrestling team brings medals from every tournament for many years now.

Even so the 2014 World Championship was unprecedented for our team. Armenia got two champions at once: Arsen Julfalakyan and Artur Aleksanyan.

In this issue of In One Shot series we host head coach of the Greco-Roman wrestling team Levon Julfalakyan.

When you come home with a victory, you experience emotions you cannot describe with words.

Each medal I won is meaningful to me. This time though it was two champions for Armenia. Only our team managed to achieve such a result.

We were in a wonderful mood, the whole team was happy. When you see so many people cheering for you, you realize that your win made them forget all their problems for a moment and just feel joy. It is very important to me.

Of course, journalists make photos of you, but at such moments you don’t think how you should compose yourself. You just live in the moment with everybody present.
