Armenia’s industrial output built up 6.7% to AMD 1 429 044 million in 2016
YEREVAN, February 1. /ARKA/. Armenia's industrial output totaled AMD 1 429 044 million in 2016 showing a 6.7% year-on-year growth, the National Statistical Service reports.
The country's mining industry built up its output by 8.3% in 2016 to AMD 256.4 billion. In particular, metallic ore output grew 8.4%.
According to the statistical report, processing industry accounted for the output worth AMD 884.9 billion in 2016 and for 7% year-on-year growth.
Electric energy, gas steam and conditioned air supply grew 2% to AMD 265.5 billion and water supply and waste recycling grew 7% to AMD 22.1 billion. ($1 – AMD 486.5). --0---
