Domodedovo resident sentenced to 7 years in prison for killing ambulance driver

A resident of Domodedovo was sentenced to seven years in prison for the murder of an ambulance driver, as well as the acquisition and storage of explosives. This is reported on Thursday, September 26, informs the Main Department of the Investigation Committee of Russia in the Moscow region.

The court found the 56-year-old defendant guilty of committing crimes under part 1 of article 105 (murder) and part 1 of article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition and storage of explosives and explosive device).

The man shot dead a 33-year-old ambulance driver in the Vostryakovo neighborhood of Domodedovo on the night of February 2. Then it was noted that the accused was in a state of alcoholic intoxication and committed the murder during a verbal altercation. The next day he was detained. As a result of the investigation of the crime, investigators also found that in 2017 he illegally bought a manual fragmentation grenade F-1 and stored at his home.
