Environmental patrol service to be instituted in Armenia 

ArmInfo. An Environmental Patrol Service is being created in Armenia. At a meeting on July 4, the 

Government of the Republic of Armenia established the procedure for holding a tender for filling official positions in the Service, as well as the procedure, conditions and rules for completing a training course for patrols.

As noted in the justification of the project, with the adoption of 

the document, the procedure for holding a tender for filling official 

positions in the environmental patrol service, its features, terms 

and other conditions will be determined, which will ensure the 

selection of citizens in accordance with their professional knowledge 

and skills. The project proposes to establish the procedure, 

conditions and rules for completing a training course for 

environmental patrol officers, as well as the procedure for 

appointment to positions after completing the course. To carry it 

out, it will be necessary to attract 750 thousand drams, which will 

be allocated either from the state budget or as part of donor 

support. It is planned that the document will come into force the 

next day after its official publication.
