Armenia to participate in Vienna Christmas Fair

ArmInfo.To popularize Armenia's cultural heritage internationally and boost recognition of the country, Armenia will participate in the Spittelberg Christmas Fair in Vienna, Austria. The country will have a separate pavilion at the fair from November 16 to December 23.

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, the project is being implemented by the Ministry in collaboration  with the " Culture Development" Fund and the Hovhannes Sharambeyan Museum of Folk Arts.  The Armenian pavilion will showcase products from approximately 40 artisans, including a variety of examples and souvenirs of carpet weaving, pottery, and doll making.  The Spittelberg Christmas Market is an event with a long tradition,  held in one of the historical districts of Vienna since the 1970s. It should be noted that Armenia's first participation in the Strasbourg Christmas Market in 2023 was a success.
