Aston Villa FPL winners and losers from Gameweek 15: Boubacar Kamara hits double figures
The Premier League delivered some noteworthy results this past weekend and Aston Villa FPL players won’t mind their low-scoring Arsenal picks.
Villa beat Arsenal but Fantasy Premier League players with a couple of Villa selections made hay while the sun shone on Villa Park on Saturday.
It’s been a couple of week’s since we last took the time so let’s check in with last week’s scores in the Premier League’s official FPL game.
Top Aston Villa FPL scorers in GW15
The top Villa scorer in FPL this week was midfielder Boubacar Kamara, who added a cool ten points to the bottom line of more than 25,000 teams thanks to a total of 12 defensive contributions and three juicy bonus points. The win against Wolverhampton Wanderers was his only better points haul this season.
Matty Cash (nine points) and Emi Buendía (six points as a late substitute) scored the Villa goals but only Pau Torres and joined the top-scoring trio on more than two points for the week.
Cash is Villa’s top scorer for the season as a whole with 73 points and is now Villa’s second most popular pick behind Morgan Rogers, who is in one team in every ten and has powered his way up to 61 total points.

AVF FPL update GW15
It’s been a few gameweeks since we caught up, so let’s do so.
GW15 was a positive one for Warren Torch, who overtook Abdelrhman Gooda to move into second place behind league leader Gary James. Gary will pass 1000 points in GW16. Insane.
Amber Barnard was our top scorer of the round with 77 points, benefiting from Daniel Muñoz’s absence from the Crystal Palace team and the subsequent automatic inclusion of Cash from the bench.
At the bottom of the league, GW15 saw no change at all in the positions of the lowest seven teams. Lucy Smith is our wooden spoon leader.
