French Alps gets conditional approval to host 2030 Winter Games

PARIS, July 24 (Xinhua) -- The French Alps has been awarded as the host of the 2030 Winter Olympic Games by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on Wednesday, but under the condition that French government provides financial and organizational guarantees before the dates set by the IOC.
