Rapids F Kevin Cabral recovering from elbow surgery

Colorado Rapids forward Kevin Cabral is recovering after surgery on his right elbow, the club announced Wednesday.

He sustained a dislocated elbow and a compound fracture to the radial head during a 3-2 loss to the Galaxy on July 17 in Los Angeles.

The 25-year-old Frenchman is expected to be sidelined for up to 12 weeks.

Cabral has five goals and a career-high four assists in
