Corbin Carroll's bat, glove carry D-backs past Marlins

Corbin Carroll homered, scored twice and made a sliding catch in right field that likely saved two runs as the Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the host Miami Marlins 3-1 on Tuesday night.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. also went deep for the Diamondbacks, who will try for a three-game sweep on Wednesday.

Carroll, the 2023 National League Rookie of the Year, went 2-for-4. He has 14 homers
