Guardians option LHP Logan Allen to AAA Columbus

The Cleveland Guardians purchased the contract of left-hander Anthony Gose from Triple-A Columbus and optioned left-handed starter Logan Allen to Triple-A.

Gose, 34, had one appearance with the Guardians earlier this season, giving up two runs over 1 1/3 innings. The former major league outfielder with the Toronto Blue Jays and Detroit Tigers from 2012-16 has 29 career pitch
