Stock market starts week on a positive note led by gains in consumer goods, IT

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 2 (ANI): The Indian equity market closed on a positive note on Monday, supported by gains in consumer goods and information technology (IT) stocks.

At the close of trading, the Sensex gained 194 points to reach 82,560, while the Nifty rose 43 points to 25,279.
