Boxing Day football is very much part of Christmas tradition in a lot of households up and down the country. Whether it is going to the games with family and friends, or settling down for a football marathon on the sofa you are never far away from a game on the 26th. After the 1970s, the festive football, generally moved a day later with Christmas Day being spent with the family, and football shifting to Boxing Day. Now a
