Sounders acquire All-Star Jesus Ferreira from FC Dallas

The Seattle Sounders acquired decorated FC Dallas forward Jesus Ferreira in a trade Wednesday.

Dallas received winger Leo Chu, up to $2.3 million in general allocation money and a 2025 international roster slot.

Ferreira, 24, recorded 53 goals and 34 assists in 163 matches with Dallas from 2017-24.

He tied the franchise single-season record with 18 goals in 2022, earning MLS
