Philippines records 11,000 road crash deaths annually

MANILA, March 19 (Xinhua) -- About 11,000 people lost their lives in road crashes across the Philippines every year, Philippine Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa said Wednesday.

"And the majority of those that died are young people between 15 to 29 years old," Herbosa said during the 2025 Philippine Road Safety Summit.
