Princess Kate makes first public appearance since revealing cancer diagnosis

Catherine, the Princess of Wales, made her first public appearance in London over the weekend since revealing her cancer diagnosis in March. The crowd cheered as she arrived at Buckingham Palace with her three children to watch a military parade celebrating King Charles' birthday. The king is also being treated for cancer.

9 people wounded in shooting at a splash pad in a Detroit suburb

Authorities say nine people were wounded Saturday after a man fired at least 28 shots at families trying to cool off at a community splash pad in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Police say the gunman, who struggled with mental health, calmly walked back to his car after the shooting and drove to a home less than a half-mile away. Police surrounded the house and say the shooter killed himself.
