Simul with IM Zuzana Hagarova

WGM/IM Zuzana Hagarova is playing against 15 opponents at the same time in an engaging and educational chess match. The event is organized by the ECU Women’s Chess Commission will happen Wednesday 28th August in Top Hotel Prague and is part of the European Youth Chess Championships 2024

About Zuzana Hagarova: Zuzana Hagarova is a successful Slovak female chess player, holding the titles of Woman Grandmaster (WGM) and International Master (IM). Born in Kezmarok, Slovakia, Zuzana has proudly represented her country in 11 Women’s Chess Olympiads and 7 European Team Championships. She is a multiple Slovak Women Champion, having won the title an impressive seven times.

Among her biggest successes are the Gold Medal at the European Team Championship in 1999 (Batumi), a 7th place finish at the Women’s Chess Olympiad in 2004 (Calvia), and a 2nd place at the World Youth Championship G18 in 1994 (Szeged).

In addition to her competitive achievements, Zuzana is dedicated to the development of future chess talents, working as a chess trainer and recently taking on the role of co-captain of the Slovak women’s national team.

This event is proudly organized by the Women’s Chess Commission and the European Youth Chess Championship Organising Committee, aiming to inspire and challenge the next (and not only) generation of chess players & admirers.
