I don’t eat a lot of fast food. When I do, I’m usually left disappointed. So, would this be the case when I went to Five Guys to get a patty melt—a secret menu item that’s not so much a secret anymore ?  Traditionally, a patty melt is a hamburger between grilled seeded rye bread or Texas toast.
