Warrington Wolves • Re: The Run In

The odds are very much against HKR / Wigan slipping up & we are highly likely to end up third. Our opponents are much less certain. All teams will be tough. Obviously having a week's rest would be better but it may be that our last game (or two) might end up pretty unimportant.

Warrington Wolves • Re: Tonight’s game v Leigh

It's obvious that the commentators can hear more of the video ref's deliberations than we can, and they seek like giddy schoolkids when they get to tell us the outcome half a second before it comes on screen. No reason to believe the VRs can hear the commentary, although I suspect there are some situations where there is only one audio feed and it does happen.

I wonder which NRL team Nsemba will be playing for.

He’s ready for it now, but it’s frightening to think how good he could be in an NRL system.

It doesn't say hand rail it says 'physical barrier'.
They will need to clarify what that means.

Quite right, I’m just thoughtful that a handrail would be beneficial to quite a few people including me when climbing those steps.

Leeds Rhinos • 2024 | Play Off Chance

Depends how you measure ‘head impacts’. If you speak to the players, they feel game more dangerous, as two players try and get low in the tackle, results in more impacts/head collisions between defenders, more impacts of head on thigh from attacker too…..

Hmm. I don't think so. I don't often speak to players, but I'd hazard a guess that slightly changing their tackling technique ( in recognition of the long standing laws of the game) is a preferable and more... Читать дальше...

Bradford Bulls • 2025 Recruitment

Agreed! I think Championship clubs get away with it because the majority don't have academies.

I'm hoping from O'Carroll's most recent interview we can keep Pele.

Wigan Warriors • Re: Catalans (a)

Just back at the hotel from the game. Terrific atmosphere reminiscent of old Wembley. Nsemba was brilliant and if we've let Forber go to Salford we've cocked up big time. Fantastic day but not seen the game back yet so you lot probably know more than me!

Yes, there is something very satisfying in beating Leeds whether it be Football or RL. It will of course lift us off the bottom of the table too.

Hull FC • Shopping list for 2025

The club will know who else is leaving, hence Rapana probably replacing Walker and Cust probably replacing Smith.
I like Walker a lot, but he just misses too many games.
Hopefully Myler has a couple of domestic signings up his sleeve, one being a forward.
The thing I think is just as important, are the off field appointments. The club can also make a statement with who they bring in.

Thought Burgess was spot on, and good on him for speaking out.
Are we getting less concussions and a safer game now? We currently have two players out long term with concussion. Can’t remember that since I started watching the sport…….

Rapana has predominantly played fullback for the Raiders this season.

Walker only seems to be able to string about 3 games together before breaking down again.
