Skating Into Summer: Go Skate Day, Supply the Ride & More!
On June 21st, TSP celebrated International Go Skateboarding Day with hundreds of skaters from across New York City. Spirits were high, The Banks was packed, and the skating was nothing short of incredible.
From surprise obstacles to cash for tricks, prizes, and so much more, the city demonstrated its unparalleled ability to celebrate Go Skate Day to the fullest! Shout out to our partners at Vans, Gotham Park, Steve Rodriguez, and countless others for helping to make this event possible!

GO SKATE DAY
Ann Arbor, Michigan
The A2 Skatepark in Ann Arbor, Michigan celebrated its 10th anniversary, also coinciding with Go Skate Day this year! TSP leadership and Board of Directors joined the community celebration, which included a skate jam, live music, speeches, awards, and so much more!
Making it even more special, our very own Director of Grants and Skatepark Development, Trevor Staples, was the lead advocate on this skatepark 10 years ago. We feel honored to have been a part of such a special day for the city of Ann Arbor and look forward to many more events and milestones to come!
GO SKATE DAY + SUPPLY THE RIDE
Diné Skate Garden, Navajo Nation
A few weeks back, The Diné Skate Garden hosted an electrifying skate jam on Go Skate Day with 4KINSHIP! The entire community came out to celebrate and the event included a Supply The Ride giveaway with support from our partners at Dynacraft.
Youth from Two Grey Hills, New Mexico were provided with free bikes and gear to further enjoy their park that opened up on the Navajo Nation last Spring! We can’t wait to see what other events and celebrations this park has in store!
SUPPLY THE RIDE
Lockport, New York
A few days before International Go Skateboarding Day, The Railyard Skatepark in Lockport, New York hosted a skate jam and Supply The Ride giveaway at their newly opened skatepark! Free bikes from Dynacraft and skateboard completes from Skate One were given away to youth in the community.
This new skatepark, supported by TSP and The Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation through our Built to Play Program, opened to the public on April 20th and quickly became a hot spot for locals and visitors alike. It’s always so rewarding to attend these types of events with the communities we’ve worked closely with, to celebrate and further support their efforts!
