May/Stansfield dilemma
It’s clear that CD sees JS as the number nine and that’s fine, but for me I feel it’s criminal to leave a striker out who has topped the scoring charts for last few seasons out.
He got the winner last night from being in the box and JS effectively out wide and providing the ball.
JS also missed 2 really good chances, 3 if you count the shot that went over. I don’t know why Keshi starts if I am honest, he will be nowhere near this side in championship. For me I’d rather see a front 4 of May as the 9, Jay coming off the right, with Wright to come on, Thor in the 10 and Hansson as the left sided player.
I don’t know what else anyone feels but for May is that goal scorer at this level. I think he would have taken at least one of those chances Jay had last night. Not forgetting he scored the winner as well.
Thoughts?
PS- This isn’t a Jay battering love the bassa and he starts every game wherever.
