Afghan forces arrest facilitator of Zabul truck bombing which killed 39, wounded 140 others

The Afghan forces have arrested the main facilitator of truck bombing in Zabul which killed at least 39 people and wounded 140 others.
The Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the Special Forces arrested the facilitator of the attack and 8 others during a raid in Ghazni province.
The statement further added that the Special Forces also arrested 3 other bombing facilitators of Taliban and confiscated two car bombs during the raid.
The Taliban militants on Thursday detonated a medium sized truck packed with explosives close to a hospital in Zabul province.
The local officials say the explosion killed at least 39 people including two security personnel and wounded at least 140 others.

The security forces killed the shadow district chief of Taliban for Zari district of Balkh province during a clash on Saturday.
The 209th Shaheen Corps said in a statement a group of Taliban militants clashed with the security forces at around 8:45 pm on Saturday night.
The statement further added that the security forces responded to the attack killing Mawlavi Gul Ahmad alias Abuzar, the shadow district chief of Taliban for Zari.
Furthermore, the security forces killed 8 comrades of Mawlavi Gul Ahmad and wounded at least 13 others.
The 209th Shaheen Corps also added that the Air Forces provided close air support to the security forces during the clash.
Two security personnel of the Public Uprising Forces also lost their lives during the clash and 4 others sustained injuries, the 209th Shaheen Corps added.
