FBI: General Flynn and the Trap
The Trap:
This is law enforcement abusing its most tyrannical power—to strip citizens of their reputations, their livelihoods and their liberty.
Russia’s ambassador to the U.S. Thanks to new documents the feds belatedly turned over to his attorneys, we know the FBI engineered this “crime.” Handwritten notes from former FBI counterintelligence head Bill Priestap, made before the bureau’s interview of Mr. Flynn, ask the following: “What is our goal? Truth/Admission, or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?” Wall Street Journal reported.
In 2017, Michael T. Flynn pleaded guilty in the District of Columbia to making false statements to the FBI pertaining to his communications with the Russian Ambassador to the United States. In the Statement of Offense filed with his plea agreement, Flynn admitted to making materially false statements in multiple documents filed pursuant to FARA in conjunction with worked performed by him and his company for the principal benefit of the Republic of Turkey.

Description: INFORMATION (A) .On or about January 24, 2017, defendant MICHAEL T. FLYNN did willfully and
knowingly make materially false, fictitious, and fraudulent statements and representations in a matter within the jurisdiction of the executive branch of the Government of the United States, to wit, the defendant falsely stated and represented to agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation,
in Washington, D.C., that:

On or about December 29, 2016, FLYNN did not ask the Government ofRussia’s Ambassador to the United States (“Russian Ambassador”) to refrain from escalating the situation in response to sanctions that the United States had imposed against Russia that same day; and FLYNN did not recall the Russian Ambassador subsequently telling him that Russia had chosen to moderate its response to those sanctions as a result o f his request; and
On or about December 22, 2016, FLYNN did not ask the Russian Ambassador to delay the vote on or defeat a pending United Nations Security Council resolution; and that the Russian Ambassador subsequently never described to_FLYNN Russia’s response to his request.
