1000 U.S. Troops to be deployed to Poland?

Since the announcement that 9,500 troops are to be downsized in the U.S. mission to Europe, speculation is that 1,000 may be redeployed to Poland.
“ This is a mischaracterization because the name “Fort Trump” was never a reality, that’s why @POTUS didn’t focus on it. What is a reality is the defense cooperation agreement that both presidents signed. It’s on track and on schedule. There will be more U.S. troops in Poland!” Ambassador Georgette Mosbacher tweeted.
Earlier, Ambassador Mosbacher told the local Polish news that 1000 US troops was the estimated number of troops to be redeployed
