Alanta Police release footage of person of interest in murder of eight year old
Atlanta Police posted new video related to the tragic shooting of an 8-year-old girl on the Fourth of July. One of the men appears in the video, although police are searching for at least one other suspect.
Police said the child was riding in a car with her mother and her mother’s friend. The driver tried to turn into a parking lot when he was confronted by an “group of armed individuals” who had blocked the entrance.
“At some point, someone in that group opened fire on the vehicle, striking it multiple times and striking the child who was inside. The driver then drove to Atlanta Medical Center for help,” police said in a statement. WSB TV Atlanta reporting
A 20K reward is being offered for information on one or more suspects involved in the murder.
