End of Watch, Police Officer Ismael Chavez and Police Officer Edelmiro Garza, Ambushed by Killer with a Criminal Record

McAllen Texas, Police Officer Ismael Chavez and Police Officer Edelmiro Garza were shot in cold blood when responding to a domestic dispute. The McAllen Police Department identified the officers as Edelmiro Garza, who was an 8 1/2 year veteran, and Ismael Chavez, who had been with the department about 2-1/2 years. 

The killer, 23-year-old Audon Ignacio Camarillo shot himself dead.

“As our community grieves for the two brave men who made the ultimate sacrifice , a memorial has been set up at the McAllen Police Department for mourners to drop off flowers or small keepsakes to keep their memories alive,” McAllen Gov.
