Darius Evonte Lanier, Eugene Meredith Hubbard arrested for drive by murder of Brison Christian 2, and shooting of brother 9
Additional details released following the tragic shooting death of a 2-year-old. A person in a silver Chrysler 300 without plates began firing at another vehicle on I-75 near McNichols. The victim driver pulled over at McNichols and noticed both of their children were shot. Multiple arrests have been made in the tragic shooting death of 2yr. old Brison Christan. A 2-year-old boy was transported to a local hospital where we was pronounced dead. A 9-year-old boy is in serious condition at a local hospital.

Bryson’s uncle is a Detroit Police officer.

The family members were innocent victims, driving after a child sport event. The shooters claim to have mistaken their truck for their intended target.
Prosecutor Kym Worthy announced charges against Darius Evonte Lanier, 19, and Eugene Meredith Hubbard, 21, in connection with the fatal shooting of two-year-old Brison Christian, and the non-fatal shooting of his nine-year-old brother BJ.
