According to the print edition of Diario De Sevilla (as relayed by Sport Witness), Tottenham target Youssef En-Nesyri could be the first player to leave Sevilla this summer as the Spanish club attempt to offset their losses.

Tottenham are interested in Youssef En-Nesyri

A whole host of outlets have reported over the last couple of weeks that Sevilla are ready to cash in on En-Nesyri, owing to their financial issues and that Tottenham are circling over the striker.

This includes a recent update by El Mira, who claimed that among the clubs who have expressed an interest in the centre-forward, the player’s preferred destination is Spurs.

The report also suggested that the Lilywhites could include Bryan Gil in the operation to sign the striker as Sevilla wish to re-sign the winger.

Early exit on the cards for En-Nesyri

Diario De Sevilla have now become the latest out to report on Tottenham’s interest in En-Nesyri and they back the striker to leave the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium this summer

In fact, it is suggested that the 27-year-old could be one of the first players out of the door this summer as Sevilla go about managing their losses and rebuilding the squad.

The publication backs up what we have heard from other sources by naming West Ham as Tottenham’s main competitor for the Moroccan international’s signature.

All of the En-Nesyri speculation is coming from Seville-based outlets, which suggests that the La Liga club might have fed this rumour to the press to force other clubs to act swiftly and make an offer for the striker.

I am not convinced that the 27-year-old is near the top of Tottenham’s wishlist.
