Ryan Sessegnon left Tottenham this month

Sessegnon departed Spurs earlier this month, with the club deciding against activating the option to extend his contract by one year.

The 24-year-old is now a free agent and it was reported at the start of last week that Fulham had explored a move to re-sign their academy graduate (The Athletic).

A few days ago, journalist Ben Jacobs told FulhamFanNews that the Cottagers might face competition from West Ham United for the full-back this summer.

Interest growing in Ryan Sessegnon

Gold has now revealed that a whole host of Premier League clubs as well as Bundesliga sides have expressed an interest in landing Sessegnon.

The departed Tottenham man did spend a season on loan at Hoffenheim but it is revealed that his preference is to remain in England.

Gold adds that there is hope that Sessegnon’s latest surgeries will significantly reduce any chances of further hamstring injuries for the player, who is currently preparing for the new season in a strength and conditioning fitness camp in Portugal.

Sessegnon’s talent has never been in question, which is why it is not surprising that so many clubs are willing to take a punt on the left-back.

Hopefully, the 24-year-old can stay injury-free for a sustained period and get his career back on track next season.
