Tottenham‘s number one Guglielmo Vicario spent Friday by helping to deliver a Goalkeeping masterclass session run through the Club’s Global Football Development programmes.

The 27-year-old visited the session which was held at Richard Hale School in Hertfordshire as one of the club’s 1-Day Football Camps which use Academy-endorsed coaching themes and methods to improve players’ technical ability.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Global Football Development team impacts circa 45,000 players and coaches annually and has enjoyed year-on-year growth.

Sessions take inspiration from the Men’s and Women’s first-team training methods and are delivered by the Club’s FA and UEFA-qualified coaches to help develop every player who participates.

Vicario, who moved to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium from Empoli in June 2023 assisted the club’s academy coaches in delivering the technical session for the aspiring goalkeepers before offering advice during an interactive Q&A session.

The keeper will be in action when Tottenham face Newcastle United in the Premier League tomorrow afternoon at St James’ Park.
