Tottenham’s injury situation is getting better

Spurs’ injury situation has improved marginally over the last couple of days, with Ange Postecoglou being boosted by the return to training of Richarlison and Mikey Moore.

Additionally, Rodrigo Bentancur has returned after serving his one-match suspension while new signing Antonin Kinsky has also strengthened the squad.

However, Tottenham’s injured list still remains relatively lengthy, with Guglielmo Vicario, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Ben Davies, Destiny Udogie and Wilson Odbert still on the treatment table.

Wilson Odobert injury timeline at Tottenham

Last week, Wilson Odobert took to social media to post a picture of him wearing his boots, which seemed to suggest that the French man is back training outdoors.

However, Spurs insider Paul O Keefe has now revealed on social media that the 20-year-old still has a long way to go to recover fully from his hamstring injury.

O Keefe stated that the winger is not even close to being back, and suggested that he might only return to action in the tail end of the season if he kicks a ball at all again this campaign.

The same story as Manor Solomon

Odobert‘s season is eerily similar to the one that Manor Solomon had last campaign and one would hope that the Frenchman’s career does not go in the same direction.

If the 20-year-old is unlikely to be involved again this season, that makes a new winger a priority in the upcoming transfer window for Tottenham.

We might even potentially see Spurs sign a winger and a striker rather than just settling for one versatile option such as Randal Kolo Muani.
