Mets sign veteran LHP Jake Diekman to 1-year deal

Left-handed reliever Jake Diekman signed a one-year deal with the New Yok Mets on Tuesday with a club option for 2025.

"Jake has a proven track record and has shown the ability to get batters out of from both sides of the plate," Mets president of baseball operations David Stearns said. "He gives our bullpen another option to provide key outs."
