The Super Bowl participant gambling ban reportedly ends after the game, so you know what that means

One of these teams is going to have a night to remember.

Players on the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs aren’t allowed to gamble while they’re in Las Vegas preparing for Super Bowl 58. As much was made clear in a communication to teams all the way back in September.

After the game is apparently a different story, though.

The NFL and NFLPA have agreed for those restrictions on player gambling to end as soon as the game does, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday. In other words, the casinos are not off limits for celebrations — or for anyone wanting to drown in their sorrows.

It was hard to imagine a team being in Vegas and not celebrating a Super Bowl title in proper Vegas fashion. This was the right choice.
