Egypt recall Hassan brothers to manage national set up after AFCON departure
February 7 – Following their early exit from the Africa Cup of Nations, Egypt have named Hossam Hassan, the country’s all-time top scorer, as technical director of their national team.
His twin brother Ibrahim, who also won more than 100 caps for the country, has been named as national team manager. Hossam Hassan (pictured) has managed among others Zamalek and Jordan.
The North Africans dismissed Rui Vitoria last weekend after they departed the continental finals in the round of sixteen,
