Legendary bettor Billy Walters reveals his Super Bowl 58 bet

Billy Walters isn't doing any head fakes with his Super Bowl wager

If you’re not familiar with Billy Walters, he’s arguably the greatest bettor who has ever lived. He’s won millions of dollars betting on sports, served some time for insider trading and only done scant few interviews about his methods.

But with his new book,”Gambler: Secrets from a life at Risk” released this fall, Walters has been far more media friendly. He was at Radio Row at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on Thursday and revealed his Super Bowl pick to Todd Dewey of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Walters likes the Kansas Chiefs and told Dewey that he believes the line is “four points off.” He plans to make a small Super Bowl wager, which for him would be between $500,000 and $1 million.

Famous for his head fakes at sportsbooks, Walters also said on Radio Row that, “I don’t need to do head fakes on the Super Bowl.”

The 49ers are currently 2-point consensus favorites over the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
