NSS personnel kick against Bawumia’s proposed optional national service

Some past and current National Service Personnel have opposed the idea of the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on his plans to make National Service optional. The service personnel have raised concerns that the NPP flagbearer should rather focus on making working conditions better for national service personnel instead of making it optional.
