Drake couldn’t ‘bet against Swifties’ so he cursed the Chiefs with a $1.15 million bet instead
For those who keep score of such things, make that two curses on the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of Super Bowl 58.
First up was the Redditor who has incorrectly predicted the winner of the Super Bowl for 16 consecutive years going all-in on the Chiefs. Now Drake has thrown his money behind the defending champs.
The hip-hop mogul dropped $1.15 million in Bitcoin on Kansas City through Stake, which sponsors him. The reason for his wager? Drake said he couldn’t bet against the Swifties.
Take that for what you will, but there are certainly worse reasons to choose a side. The only problem is Drake’s picks typically haven’t done too well in these moments.
Drake reveals he has bet 1.15 MILLION in Bitcoin crypto currency for the Kansas City Chiefs’ win at this year’s Superbowl:

Drake lost $1 million betting against France in the 2022 World Cup. Lost in iconic fashion in 2016 when he dropped $60,000 on the Golden State Warriors’ NBA Finals collapse to the Cleveland Cavaliers. And has lost plentymore betting on boxing and MMA.
But this truly seems like a no-win scenario for Drake. Either he bets on the 49ers and draws the ire of Swift fans or bets on the Chiefs and curses them.
The only worse option is not betting at all. Which, also isn’t a great look during the biggest sporting event of the year when you partner with a sportsbook.
Maybe the two curses will cancel each other out.
