But, per the National Football League, R&B singer Andra Day will take the stage before the festivities begin to perform Lift Every Voice and Sing.

Day, a Grammy-nominated singer, has been singing professionally for years but found success with the release of her 2015 soul-stirring hit Rise Up. She’s also made an impact through her acting and made headlines for her impeccable portrayal of iconic singer Billie Holiday in the film The United States vs. Billie Holiday, which led to a BET Award and Golden Globe award for Best Actress and an Academy Award nomination in the same category for Day.
