Cowboys fans melted down about the team's slow start to free agency after Jerry Jones' 'all in' remark

His definition of "all in" must be different.

During the Senior Bowl, Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said that the team was going to take an “all in” approach for 2024 as free agency loomed. Fast forward to a couple days into NFL free agency, and the Cowboys have yet to sign a player from an outside team.

Now, the Cowboys entered free agency near the bottom of the league in cap space. But we’ve seen teams get creative in navigating cap restrictions in the past. And given Jones’ remarks, Cowboys fans (unreasonably) expected Dallas to be more aggressive in improving a roster that got embarrassed in the NFC wild-card round.

Jones somewhat walked back on his comments during the combine. He said via ESPN:

“Your definition of what is ‘all-in’ and mine might not be the same thing. But I’m trying to win the games this year with my decision. So I’m all-in to this year.”

Yet, Cowboys fans have not seen those results thus far in free agency. Safe to say that they are not impressed.

This is how Twitter reacted
