Simone Biles had a 4-word response to husband Jonathan Owens signing with the Bears
While the Chicago Bears are still trying to figure out their quarterback situation amid Justin Fields’ tanking trade value, the team still made a move on Tuesday to boost its secondary depth.
Let’s just say that one Olympic champion was thrilled with the news.
The Bears agreed to a two-year deal with former Packers safety Jonathan Owens — who is, of course, the husband of star U.S. gymnast Simone Biles. While Owens did face some backlash earlier last season for his comments about not knowing who Biles was initially, the couple has been married for nearly a year and Biles is a regular at his games.
Biles was especially excited that her husband is heading to Chicago. This was her four-word response on Twitter/X.

She also added that she’ll love having direct flights to Chicago rather than the layovers trips to Green Bay required.
