Man City vs Newcastle preview
Manchester City missed out on the chance to go top of the league last week in their draw at Anfield.
But they’ll be hoping to put that right by booking their spot in the last four of the FA Cup when Newcastle visit in the teatime Saturday clash.
The defending champions have already knocked out two Premier League opponents to reach this stage and are warm favourites to progress beyond the Toon.
Eddie Howe’s men were so laboured and passive for the majority of the game at Chelsea on Monday and will be kicking themselves at a huge missed opportunity against an average Blues side.
Their terrible away form has been well documented but that had looked healthier in recent weeks.
