UFL punter Brad Wing threw a 40-yard touchdown to a lineman for an absolutely wild trick play
Dear NFL teams: can we see you run this one more often?
Because this is simply the best. Former NFL punter Brad Wing is now a member of the San Antonio Brahmas of the UFL — that’s the merged XFL and USFL, in case you didn’t know — and the team ran a wild trick play against the DC Defenders.
It first looked like a field goal attempt, but then the kicker moved out of the way, Wing took the snap and found offensive lineman Alex Mollette in the middle of the field, and he ran it in for a touchdown.
Fantastic!
WHAT IN THE WORLD JUST HAPPENED???
A ridiculous trick play for the @XFLBrahmas somehow worked. Brad Wing just threw a touchdown to their center, Alex Mollette. Insanity.
